My New Job Is Chill

I was working for my older Brother, when he decided to stop offerring me employment in that capacity. he's done that before, and might again, that's just him, and I still love him. He tries to fix things, even when they aren't broken. But he's good at fixing things, so I won't trouble him about it.

So I was unemployed for around two months, and did a great deal of colored pencil sketches until I got lucky. My new job is a turn of events, of sorts. I did my very first solo-silkscreen print on a t-shirt in 1970, I did a great many t-shirts in the pursuent thirty years. I now take orders for shirts from the great textile mills of America to be sold to t-shirt printers like I used to do. I love it, the new job, that is.

Today, my 17th day on the job, I messed up royally and almost lost the job. I apologized and promised I would not repeat the behavior I exhibited. I don't want to loose my new job. I don't really want to draw colored pencil drawings all day and look for another job.

I am entering my first arts and crafts fair this November. In fact the fair is on my birthday, the fifth. And beats all, the fifth falls on my real birth day, Saturday. The cost for my little space is $60, and I expect to show my drawings, and do portraits for a good price, maybe $10 each or so. Will keep you updated.
